Christopher Tessier

President

Chris, the founder of Aiming for Zero, a mission-driven initiative dedicated to preventing veteran suicide by raising awareness, fostering camaraderie, and supporting veteran service organizations. As a proud veteran of the Marine Corps and the New Hampshire Air National Guard, Chris understands firsthand the challenges that veterans and their families face. This deep personal connection fuels his unwavering commitment to ensuring no veteran feels alone in their struggles.

Beyond his military service, Chris has dedicated 20 years to a prominent, privately-held financial services company, bringing strategic vision, leadership, and a results-driven approach to his work. His passion for service extends beyond the corporate world, as he tirelessly advocates for the well-being of nations servicemembers, veterans and their families.

At the heart of everything he does is his nearly three-decade marriage to the love of his life, Patricia. Their enduring partnership serves as a source of strength and inspiration, reinforcing the importance of connection, support, and resilience—values that lie at the core of Aiming for Zero.

Kevin Anderson

Board Member

Kevin Anderson is a Technology Coordinator, with 23 years of IT experience. He works for the Orange East Supervisory Union with Thetford Elementary and Oxbow High School in Vermont. Prior to this, Kevin worked in IT for the Fairbanks Northstar Borough School District in Alaska and in the private sector.

Kevin is a retired veteran and served in the US Army and the Alaska Air National Guard. He completed two overseas deployments for Operation Enduring Freedom after 9/11. He maintained and crewed CH-47 Chinooks in the Army and KC-135 Tankers in the Air National Guard.

In his free time, Kevin enjoys competing in competitive shooting matches.

 

Michael Johns

Board Member

Michael Johns is an owner of a window cleaning business in Concord NH, which he has run with his wife Kathy for 12 years.

Michael holds a BS. In Electrical Engineering from SUNY Utica. Prior to his current career Michael spent 27 years in the telecom industry with Frontier Communications starting as an outside plant engineer in central New York, an operations manager overseeing outside operations for install and repair technicians in Rochester NY. His last post was Director of operations in Charleston WV responsible for 3 Network operations centers in two states. 

Michael is a certified firearms instructor, a Safety Officer Instructor and State Coordinator for the Internation Defensive Pistol Association.  He also serves on the Board of Directors at Pioneer Sportsmen Inc. and is active in action shooting sports.
