On February 22nd, on a crisp mid-winter day in New Hampshire, we hosted an Airsoft Shootout at the Pioneer Sportsmen Club in Dunbarton, NH. The event brought together participants of all experience levels—from first-timers handling a firearm to seasoned competitive shooters. Our guests spanned generations, from kids still counting birthdays on their fingers to those well past the half-century mark, all coming together to enjoy the thrill of ringing steel targets. More than just a day of friendly competition, it was an opportunity to create lasting memories while promoting a positive and responsible firearm culture. The best part? We did it all safely indoors, staying warm while having a blast with airsoft.

- Family Fun: In most sports, parents take on roles as coaches, scorekeepers, or cheering spectators—but not at this event! Here, moms, dads, kids, and even grandparents all stepped onto the same course, using the same equipment, and sharing in the excitement together.

- New Shooters: Airsoft is an excellent way to introduce new shooters to firearm handling because it provides a safe, low-pressure environment to learn essential skills like trigger discipline, sight alignment, and target acquisition. Unlike live firearms, airsoft guns allow beginners to develop confidence and familiarity with handling techniques without the noise, recoil, or risk associated with live ammunition. Additionally, airsoft promotes responsible firearm habits, emphasizing safety rules and proper etiquette in a way that is engaging and accessible for all ages.
- Intro to Metal Madness: Metal Madness Airsoft is a shooting sport designed to be accessible, exciting, and family-friendly. It allows participants of all skill levels to engage in fun, competitive shooting while learning the fundamentals of firearm handling. Using affordable airsoft guns, shooters aim to hit steel targets in a timed environment, experiencing the thrill of instant feedback.
